From Sichuan to Chicago and now Beijing,MeiXing has shaped a musical language that exists somewhere between the earthly and the otherworldly. Guided by a fascination with energy, psychedelia, and the unknown, his sets explore the space where deep grooves, hypnotic rhythms, and imagination converge. You can't expect to stay in the same groove for long, ‘cause his journey usually goes unstable. Above the sub-bass and groovy drums, the elements in your ears may change from Jazz to hip-hop, southern rainforest to some African tribe. Focusing on the subtle transformation of energy throughout the night, MeiXing crafts immersive journeys that move effortlessly between the raw and the cosmic. Rooted in deep, psychedelic sounds yet constantly reaching toward new dimensions, his selections invite the dancefloor to lose itself in both the outer world and the inner self. Wandering across mist and radiance, chaos and clarity at a shifting pace. Rooted in the psychedelic music scene, charlieowo now moves freely across four-on-the-floor, bass, and downtempo territories. Unbound by genre or bpm, various textures and drum patterns are seamlessly woven into her soundscapes.
